Little Sparks
Little Sparks meets every Monday morning except on Bank Holidays from 10:30am to 11.45am. Primarily for the new parents, there will be drinks and biscuits provided, a listening ear from our team, a warm welcome and the chance to meet other new parents and make new friends. Babies are catered for with soft cushions to lie on and baby toys and walkers for the slightly older ones. Little Sparks is for non walking babies. We ask for a donation of £1.50 per session.

Sparklers is our hugely successful Parent and Toddler group which has been running at our church (formerly under the name of Tiddlywinks at C3 church Winchcombe) for over 12 years. Little Sparks is a smaller quieter group. We can have up to 100 attending Sparklers and so we make sure we have a quieter area sectioned off for younger children. Sparklers is for all pre-schoolers. We meet in term times only on a Friday morning from 10am to 11.30am. We ask for a donation of £2 per session.

Each week there will be a craft activity for the children, songs, parachute games, storytime and a drink and a biscuit. Our hall will be packed with toys and games for the children to play with.

Play and Praise SparklesP&P Sparkles_edited-3
This is our newest group suitable for bumps, babes and toddlers. It’s held every Tuesday at Encounter Church from 1:30pm to 2:45pm.

There is always a bible story, themed craft, songs, and a great time with cake, a cuppa and a chat with the mums. Each week our team focus on different aspects of parenting for just a few minutes while the children are having some supervised play. You would be very welcome on a Tuesday and we ask for a small donation of just £1.

Jnr & Snr Sparks LogoThe group is running for a trial period throughout January and February. It has been organised by a couple of our Little Sparks Mums and a group of mums/carers and their babies or toddlers are visiting Winchcombe Day Care Centre for an hour fortnightly on a Thursday. The benefits of the different generations spending some time together are huge and have been well documented.
